Ofra has a strong background in working with children with a wide range of behavioral issues. Ofra's 22 years of experience in teaching children with special needs such as Dyslexia and ADHD have shaped her as a family coach. In 1994, Ofra earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Education. In 2016, Ofra graduated with her Master’s of Science Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. While pursuing her Master’s Degree, Ofra completed 500 practical clinical hours providing therapy to families. Ofra's experience consists of coaching families, couples, adolescents, children, and a diverse range of individuals with special needs.
Ofra has worked with the Broward County School Destrict's PROMISE Program, which provides an alternative to suspension/arrest for at-risk youth in the nation's third largest, fully accredited school district. Ofra is passionate about allowing her clients to focus on their strengths, along with conflict management/ deepening intimacy.
Ofra utilizes CBT techniques and Adler Institute parenting approaches during coaching to teach clients control their thoughts, emotions and reactions and improve communication skills. Ofra helps develop the skills required to cope with anxiety and life's challenges, stop negative thinking, feel more optimistic, and promote self-confidence.
